Why this new chess calendar

Chess99 is a new chess calendar, but I would say that a serious and good chess calendar should came a long time ago. Belive me that when it comes to search for a chess tournament, to go through different sites, in different languages, with different pieces of infromation missing and some of them with broken links... it is rather a nightmare.

How Chess99 will work

So, I created a complex database in which I invested a lot of work and thoughts how to do it better. Every tournament has its own web page inside Chess99 with all the relevant information.

I think also very helpful to have the possibility to subscribe at the tournaments. Moreover, I try to bring altogether the International chess events with the local chess events. I think and hope this can work for the good of players worldwide.

How can you support this project

First of all, I do not need money support and donations.
